Today was Berta and Aaron's last day in Bismarck. (Whaaaa!) :-( Tomorrow morning they are going to Carrington for the rest of the week. Isaiah is disappointed that he didn't get to see Aaron more. He made him a special melt-a-beads project, and had it in a gift box for him. We did see him at the water park, and at swimming lessons the other day, but couldn't work it out to have him over for supper this time. Isaiah is sending his lovingly made gift with Berta then. Hope you like it Aaron!
Elijah really likes Maggie. This is the first Cat he has ever seen up close that I know of. Maggie sits at the top of the stairs peering through the door, and Elijah stands on our side of the door peering in at Maggie! We have let her up here in the evenings. She stays by the window and watches the finch feeder. Elijah likes to have her up here, stands by her and pets her, and baby babbles at her (while my allergies are paying the price!).
Today Berta and I went to Paradiso for lunch (I splurged and had a virgin strawberry daquiri - had to go back to work afterward!). It was nice just to spend the hour visiting. This evening I made enchiladas for supper (like I didn't get enough Mexican for lunch). Berta of course, asks for soy sauce, which I didn't have. Who else in this world puts soy sauce on MEXICAN FOOD? Ay yi yi. This is the same girl that drinks milk or orange juice with her popcorn. :-)
Isaiah had swimming lessons this evening. He is in Level 3 and is doing very well. He has been swimming across the 10 ft pool in his class! He also learned how to tread water. Every night that he has swimming lessons I take Elijah swimming. Even though we don't go for long, he loves the water too.
I'm off to bed now. It's almost 10:30, and I'm getting up at 5:00 to go to the gym with my friend Jackie!
