This is Cobber Country!

Three hours from campus, a "family" of Cobbers gathered this evening for the annual Cobber Corn Feed. This was Elijah's first Cobber event!

This is my fourth year hosting. I reserve the place and pick up the corn. Ok, it's a little more than that, but the Corn Feed Crew that comes out from the Alumni office for this every year is AMAZING and they put tons of effort and planning into it every year. From here they are driving deep into the heart of Montana tomorrow - where their next cornfeed is at my great-aunt and uncle's house!

Isaiah finished two weeks of swimming lessons last night. He will do level three again next year, but he has done so well. He is now able to swim all the way across the 10 ft pool. I think his favorite thing is jumping off the diving boards!

Bet you wished you could go with them to Halaas' corn cobber feed!
