I heard the wind gusts yesterday were 100 mph... a little exaggerated I think, but my yard sure looks like it. A neighbor called last night and asked "Are you missing a pool?". Sure 'nuf, our little kiddie pool had blown three lots down and was stuck in the guy's bushes! I've planted a few new trees this year... another apple tree and a 10 ft ash tree in the backyard... a little 4 ft ash tree in the front yard. The little thing is blowing over at a 45 degree angle or more. Darn wind is going to uproot it and land THAT in my neighbor's yard too!
I'm happy to have Roberta here for the weekend. Haven't seen her since Christmas! She and Maggie (I call her "fur ball", Berta is calling her "fuzzy buns"!) arrived yesterday about supper time. Nana (my mom!) came this afternoon so we could all spend some time together. Berta is going to be here a few days and then go to Carrington for a few days and next weekend. This evening while Berta went out with Aaron and some friends, Isaiah, Nana and I went to see "Kung Fu Panda". Pretty cute show. Nana has banana bread in the oven (Isaiah has been begging for this, and you know I don't bake, I cook!). With that in the oven, they are now working on Strawberry Pretzel dessert with Berta!
We're going to watch "27 Dresses" (I LOVED that movie!) so it might be a late night!
